AFDA Bylaws
The AFDA vice president serves as the bylaws coordinator and reviews the bylaws of the Association annually, at a minimum, and prepares any changes to be recommended to the membership as necessary. Member proposed changes shall be referred to the AFDA vice president in writing. Proposed bylaw changes are forwarded by the vice president to the Association Board of Directors and legal counsel for review and comment.
The bylaws may be amended or repealed and new bylaws may be adopted at any time following a recommendation by the Board of Directors and followed by a two-thirds (2/3) affirmative vote of regular members voting, provided the regular members of the Association have been given a minimum of 30 days in notice in writing and/or 60 days’ notice via the AFDA website.
